Navy high-gloss lacquer, cut into angular fields and set with mother-of-pearl and pale silver leaf. Fine metallic lines mark the edge of each facet, so the surface reads like a map drawn in light.
The set is made to sit together in a living room: one wall panel, two trays, a lidded box and a flat-sided vase carry the same pattern at different scales.
